Help with signature - looks like it's in reverse?

    I found this last week at a local thrift store - when I first saw it I thought it was a Picasso for some reason? But when I looked at the signature I thought I was looking at a signature in reverse!
    Especially the first 4 letters to the left - it looks like Rads(?) in reverse; especially the R.
    Can anyone tell me who the artist of this was?

    He didn't. He signed a plate to be printed, when it was printed, the result is the print is in reverse from the original.
