    Are they made out of wax? they look like they could be made out of wax for casting metal using the lost wax process.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    How tall are they? Can you find any markings at all that might indicate manufacturer?

    The metal inside the bottom looks like spelter / pot metal. But I can't tell whether the figures are made of that.

    They do look like pot metal. I am sorry I missed the photo that showed the metal. They look painted, I wonder if that is original paint?
