Actually the copy is the same size as the original piece. I had a typo in the outer measurements above should have been 44x 32". (Not 44 x 22")

Canvas is 28" x 40" and the just looked up the original, 2 ft 4 inches by 3 ft 4 inches. So exactly the same it turns out.

Wish it could speak! Someone painted this in the 90s or earlier as the gallery that either sold it or framed it appears to have only been open for a few years mid 90s.
