    I just wanted to share this pin that I just acquired. it measures 1 1/8" (29mm) diameter x 1 3/4" (44mm) long. Markes D&H 1879.

    I love it. And of course I need it.:) I have a small collection of fan jewellery, too small, and this would be a perfect and very wearable addition.
    The Russian style hook is interesting on an American piece.

    ..Thanks for your compliments, it has cross-appeal to fan collectors as ANY mentioned also bug jewelry collectors like KYRA and also sterling pin collectors.. I have 2 more neat items that I just picked up, that I will be posting.
