Ruby Candy Dish & Green Stretch Glass Bowl

    The green bowl is iridescent, kind of hard to capture in the photo. The ruby candy dish has a fleur de lis finial. Any thought are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

    The green bowl may be Fenton.

    Hi Joe - The red dish is part of Viking's Epic line. Source is "Ruby Glass of the 20th Century, Book 2." Described as "3-legged covered candy, Epic pattern, 7 1/2" wide 5 1/4" high". For what it's worth, BV was $30.00 but the book is from 1999.

    On the green - I think Mill Cove is correct - try Fenton bowl #847 in Florentine Green. Florentine Green is described as being iridescent.

    Thanks for the help!!! Any thoughts on value for the fenton bowl? I can't find any other examples in completed or active listings. Based on the other pieces of stretch glass I was thinking $20-30.

    Sounds reasonable. My book says $25-$27 but Fenton pricing can be tricky (at least for me) especially when unmarked. Dates of manufacture btw are 1917-1928 if I'm correct on the color. I hope it does well for you!
