    Please help...
It came from a 5 pc. Collection but unfortunately I must have to post each pc. Individually? This 1st pc. Is metal, perhaps bronze, measures 2.5 inches.
    The other pcs. Are 3 mother of pearl wall hangings 36"h x 16" w x 1.5" deep
The remaining items are 2 oriental serving dishes with a hand -carved wooden stamp featuring a dragon on top. Any help on info or how to postvas group will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

Scott, to my eye, yours appears to be a modern decorative item. The type of thing sold at stores such as Home Goods. Hard to see the "bronze" but suspect inspired by the Benin bronzes of Africa. Let's see what others have to say. And, in the meantime, a photograph of the back would be helpful.

Thank you for your quick response, it came from a restaurant that closed 30 yrs ago.

    Welcome Scotty.

Not Benin style, but that doesn't matter. As Debora said, a decorative item.
    Maybe 1980s then.;)

Maybe for your next thread you can think of a more descriptive thread title. "Help please" is obvious, or you wouldn't ask us.:D People want to know if it is something they may be able to help you with, or if they can skip it because they wouldn't know anyway.

Thanks Aqui. Since you made the effort, I can say that it is roughly inspired by full size woodcarvings that have that 'face on open diamond' shape (non-official term).
It is somewhere in my memory, but inaccessible right now. The authentic woodcarvings could be from Gabon, but can't say for sure.

Anyway, the metal item could have been made in a Western country or even in China. I have seen mass produced 'tribal' pendants like that. Someone put it in a shadowbox and added random 'symbols'.

As Debora and I said before, purely decorative, not old. If someone likes it, fine. No offence, but this is all the time I am willing to spend on it.
