hi Folks, something i found today in our local antiques shop

after reading the post from @Houseful

i starting reading up on them and looking at pictures

anyway i asked the lady what it was (and looked similar to pictures i looked at) and she said it was a hair ball

dont know if these things have any value at all, but seemed an interesting buy at £5

its not a stone as it is light for its size

    any thoughts appreciated

It does. Charlie, you will also be immune to basilisk poison if bitten but you have to swallow the bezoar whole according to Severus Snape in Harry Potter. :)

    Too funny, thanks Aj

I'm presuming £5 was a good buy, but perhaps they depend on age, type etc

Yeah that did cross my mind as well:)
