Like to get some help with these European? hallmarks and maker marks kind of thing.

Really just need to figure out what country so I know how to research the balance of the markings :)

So the Vesta (I think that is what it is called) I have had for probably 5 years or longer - years before I found this forum. It's been around a while and I can't even remember where or when I picked it up.

It is really hard to get pictures on both of these because they are just so friggin small :(

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hey @Bakersgma I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. That is probably how I should have asked on the original post. I am just not familiar with the marks to know where to start. i.e. knowing its dutch, I can go down the right rabbit hole versus clicking on a thousand links :)

    I really appreciate your help!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

HAHA!! Well, I started down this rabbit hole and so far have only gotten to the second image, where the first 2 marks are! I "Think" there may be some tiny signature there too, where I outlined in red, which if you have a good Loupe, take a careful look....might be a partial date there too, but that often turns out not to be.....THEN, one section I copied & enlarged and flipped around......looking at it one way.....you can see what looks like 'U O' in one direction, but in the other direction it looks like O n (make that 'n' large) with what looks like small 'js' under the 'n'......and for the other half of the mark on that end....looking at the 'negative' in the center...it looks like a 'joker', but look at it in the positive towards the edges, and it looks like the initials 'R g'.....so go figure!!!! If you want me to keep fiddling, I'll come back tomorrow....gotta go beddy-bye!!!

Thank you @Hollyblue, I didn't know that! As I said, I can't even remember where I picked it up it was so long ago. It most likely would have been out of a storage locker or, at the time, I would buy the silver and gold from other storage locker buyers, so maybe in a lot of silver purchased from one of them.

@Aquitaine don't travel to far down the hole, you may end up never coming back :)

We are getting ready for holiday so today is a busy day for us!
