Yours doesn’t look as if it feels like fuzzy felt Charlie, looks more stone like.

No your right house, not fuzzy at all, hard as stone

Hopefully that means it has some age to it, looks and feels like it has

Holy cow! Learned my something new for the day. Had never seen one of these before. Looks like there’s a couple big money ones on eBay but I don’t see any sold on there for too much. For five you couldn’t go wrong though! Should pay off at some point, somewhere! I wouldn’t mind having one on a shelf just for sh*ts and giggles.

Charlie's is an enterolite bezoar, or stone inside the digestive system. Those are the real bezoars, the sought after magic stones. They are not made of hair at all, they are stones.

Hairballs are very different from besoars, although they are sometimes called tricho-bezoars.
There are also phyto-bezoars, which can form after eating certain unripe Asian fruits. As far as I know the hairballs and plant matter ones are not traditionally considered bezoars and have no magic value.
I can hear Kat Slater saying that.:hilarious:

This proves you can sell anything to people with money, for a considerable amount of money.... Who knew....lol

I must say, the next time i find deer skat with an interesting look in the woods, I am going to gather it up and put it under glass and consign it for sale at the local antique shop!!

Probably got to do with the rarity of them though George, they probably are a bizarre occurrence

I imagine there's been quite alot more deer skat about than these things, interesting looking or not !:)
