Firgural Jewelry Casket Ormalu?

    Can anyone help me to figure what I have here? It is 5.5"x3.5"x4.25" and weighs 2 lb 14 oz. It looks gilded over bronze and has pewter accents.

    Nice! I think mid century. Probably made in Japan.
    These were quite popular in the 40s- 60s.
    They were meant to look like the original ormolu jewelry caskets from the Victorian period.
