Help with Signiture

    Hey everyone. Bought this interesting charger/ bowl today. Having a hard time putting the signiture together. Anyone have a guess?

    I think it says "MCcovery" .Studio pottery is almost impossible to identify as there are apparently 8 zillion studio potters!

    For me, I question that last letter before the "y".....or what I see as a 'y'....you can see the 'tail' in the 'y' in the enlargement........

    That's not much of a tail. I don't see that as a y, just the end of an n or m.

    There is a Matthew McGovern that makes pottery. Google him. Doesn't look old enough to be working in 87 to me...BWDIK.
