This is marked sterling and also has a crescent moon mark which I have not been able to track down with various searches. It is quite big and sturdy at 45 grams and 3 inches tall. The design uses NA rope and bead elements so I'm thinking NA or at least SW (I know I can't call it NA without identifying the maker).

Do you think it is of southwest origin, or something else? I ask because the heavy curling ropes is not a motif I think I have seen on NA SW jewelry.

And of course any insight into the crescent moon mark would be great. I did look at the art-amerindien site and could not find it.

    Thanks!
