Potties - Unusual globed pottery piece two holes ( seen before on PGP)

    I received permission to borrow this picture from someone trying to get an Id on this piece. I remember the same item being posted years back on the PGP board, and am hoping someone remembers what it is. I'm pretty sure it received an Id way back.     My initial thought is this an insulator. I've seen several like items in my ID searches when I list some for sale and the rarer ones like this pop up every so often. Just my thoughts.. interesting piece!
