Picked up this lamp at an estate sale a while back and thinking of selling it now. Any ideas about the age/style this might be in?
    Thanks

Looks like a Satsuma Vase lamp.

It is a japanese Satsuma Kyoto. Not quite kinkosan, they are earthenware and satsuma but most do not generate much attention or value and are quite common. These ware can date back to the 19th century but these were most commonly made in the 1920- 1930's. I have a half dozen of these vases, as they can be found very cheaply on the market. Your vase appears to be of a good size and seems in good condition and is of good size and would be 1920 -1930's. Unfortunately these do not always sell for much. you would be lucky to get $100 for it. However this vase, is neatly formed into the lamp, which is good selling point. Maybe get a lampshade for it. As a lamp it might sell for betterprice. As Kyoto vases go, then this one is quite good quality. Certainly your vase is of good quality.
