    Hi All,
I inherited a large caledon vase from my parents. My mum bought it 32 years ago and I coveted it since I was young.

it now takes pride of place in my living room but I’d love to know more about it.

if anyone could tell me what the markings mean I’d be very grateful.

    thanks in advance!

You'll need a few more pics, Styan, to get any help here....and before you post them, click on Full Size Image.

The mark appears to be Chinese. Your picture of it is upside down. Turning it 180 degrees move the character bottom left corner to top right corner. It stands for China.

Mark looks like modern chinese Jingdezhen made 1970's.... is it a vase with a peacock.

Markings are for a white porcelain Chinese work and not a celadon.
