    It is a Large framed Painting
    It is signed. It looks like T. Hutchison but i could be wrong

    I suspect that's a student piece.

    Subject matter is no more Roman than Greek, although I don't know whether the flowers - iris? - have a connection with one or the other. If they are iris, they are named for Iris, the Greek goddess of the rainbow & messenger to the gods.

    You can refer to the subject as "Classical." And, after taking a second look, I do believe that's the work of a (proud) student.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    I like it -- the swirling purple colors and the acrobatic people. It's mysterious, in a way.
