Featured Chinese Reverse Painted Snuff Bottle - Age and Material?

    It is a beauty, and unusual, with those sideways insects, lovely.
    The spoon is bone, very nicely carved, the stopper stone looks like jasper.
    I find these inside painted bottles very difficult to date, but I suspect this is an oldie.
    Chinese inside painting started in the late 19th century, as a novelty thing, so it can't be older than that. Maybe early 20th?
