Unusual Peruvian 1934 Republica Lima Coin Stick Pin

    Trying to figure out what this would have been used for? The stick pin is large - would this have been for a hat? For a wedding or marriage piece? I had originally thought it was a Chatelaine but the coin is 1934. The blue faceted gems are glass, the front of the piece did polish up nicely with a silver cloth. No marks? Any thoughts?
