Chairs - red set.jpg Chairs - shell back.jpg Chair - green.jpg I am in the process of cleaning out my aunt's house. She has a lot of older furniture and other items. Can anyone tell me or help me ID and figure out a value of these chairs?

Id say they are all 1950s-60s and worth very little. Recovering furniture is expensive now and most people dont want to bother. Here in N. Fl you MIGHT get $5-10 apiece, and thats a very big might.

Ok, thank you. I just don't want to be scammed out of anything that may be worth money as I go through their house.

Paula, I don't know if this will help you but . . . the (three?) chairs in the second line of your photos are "channel back" wing chairs.

I have an old one in my living room (I did have it re-upholstered many years ago). It is a very comfortable chair and it is wonderful for curling up in while reading a book. :)

By the way, I don't live in Florida. ;)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

My mother was looking for wing chairs several years ago and found some at a thrift shop for about $20 each. They were newer ones and in excellent condition. This was in northern Indiana.

I recently reupholstered a channel back Deco club chair. The labor cost alone was enormous.
