POTCELAIN: What is this item? TIA

    Ive never seen anything like this. What is it called? Or what does it do?

    Measures about 5” tall and 3” diameter. Double handles. No lid, but doesn’t appear to require one.

    Condensed, or evaporated, cream can. Push it up to pour, with a finger in the hole.

    Yes, we do have a long thread (above) about these. I still maintain they are not for pouring, but dipping out condensed milk with a spoon. Pouring evaporated milk without a spout would be messy and best done with a creamer. The hole here helps remove the can.

    EXCELLENT! I’m now just that much smarter than I was this morning. My English husband finally gave up drinking condensed milk from the can.
