Another Brass or Bronze Lamp

He everyone. I was hoping to get some help with description for this. Didn't find any marks anywhere. I'm not with the item so I can't get any better pics. Thanks for any help at all.

Id guess 1920s-30s.Maybe French.What are those letters on that light switch box ? I love it !

Classical youth with wax tablet on a klinē decorated with acanthus leaves. IMO the flame-shaped bulbs are a distraction and a round bulb would be both less obtrusive and echo the klinē's ball-topped legs and other rounded design elements.

The male figure is 'Philosophy.' Perhaps your lamp was one of a pair and 'Study' is out there somewhere.

Finally found a mark. Looks like Bouhon Freres.

Could be I guess. Or maybe someone ordered it like that? Did they do things like that back then? Thanks so much for the help.

I would think they were commercially produced using an earlier design.
