Featured Help with Chinese impression mark, incense burner ??

Hi everyone, could someone help me out with mark and also is this an incense burner?? Not sure what it is made of. Feels like some type of thick heavy coating over something. Could it be brass under the coating? I just do not know what this is made of. UUGGHH. Thanks in advance.

 

i can't recognize the mark,but i think the mark just relate with the maker's company name or maker's name,didn't have relation with the dynasties mark,and i think this is looks like recent production,imho

 

Fairly recent item I would say, and it's not an incense burner, it's a ocarina, a musical instrument. Characters area mark of the maker, do not indicate age, and I would say it's made of clay --- most are. Here's a similar one.

Wow, Thank You so much. You are correct, it is made out of clay. I couldn't figure out what it was made of because I was thinking incense burner. That explains why it doesn't smell like incense

 

After further research, I found that what I have is called a XUN, very similar to an ocarina but no mouthpiece. Very interesting. Thanks again.
