Late 19th century mahogany wash stand. Colmar is in France.

I agree with Brad ... a wash stand, ... Joy.

    Welcome Eric.
Another vote for late 19th century mahogany wash stand. And as Brad said Colmar is in present day France, but it was German when this stand was made. It is in Alsace, one of those border regions that were a matter of dispute between European countries.
French stamps like this one could still have been used at the time. Ébéniste is the French term for cabinet maker.

My family is trying to sell it locally (Chicagoland area). Just looking for some advice on how much you might sell it for or expect to buy one for. (Cited from: https://www.antiquers.com/threads/identification-help.33759/)

Meubules possible for marble. You can check sold listings for
Mahogany, Marble top, Washstand with mirror. Or, someone may be along to offer a guesstimate.

Meubles, not meubules. Meubles is the French word for furniture.

No problem. When I first read the label I thought it said "Muebles" (Spanish for furniture) and it made no sense to have the rest of it in French. Sometimes the brain sees what it wants to see. :hilarious:

I am downstate IL and would try to sell something like this in the $350.00 range. Might end up having to take considerably less, as this type of furniture is out of fashion these days. Would think you could do better in Chicago or at least not need to take less.
