Featured No idea what these are.

    Found these out thrifting. They are about 3 ft tall. These are hand carved and free standing. The tops have a metal ring, to attach something to? Some sort of stand to display something? Any info is greatly appreciated.

    They look like pole screens, but missing the screen.

    Poles to put a rope or chain in between i would think.

    They would need to have weighted bases to be stanchions I think.

    They made table top pole screens too, for ladies to shield their faces from fires to stop them having a red face which was a no-no at the time.

    And because a lot of makup was done with grease or wax, and you didn't want the wax or grease to melt!

    I have similar that are store display window stands. Any clothing item on a hanger slipped through the metal loop. I have a variety of heights - other taller/shorter stands go in front or behind to max usage of window space.

    These might work for that if the object hung was light enough. They'd be tippy otherwise.
