Horse racing trophy

    Horse racing trophy’ Looking for help identifying 7 inch crystal cup it has the carving of the horse A1B67377-DA25-4C66-915D-E183E833F29D.jpeg E33A0C31-2960-4102-B57E-986DA2AD1A21.jpeg 049886AC-58BA-4F79-A525-630B06EAA1C1.jpeg ,underneath that it says Irish ruler 1963 and then under that is the name SCHELLING 1973 underneath is engraved I can’t read what the name is but the marking is &286  That’s the best picture I could get. Thank you for any information

    I wouldn't call this a "trophy" since there is no reference to a particular race and place. He was foaled in 1963, so don't expect any race result that year. ;)

    I don't see the right letters for "SCHELLING" Seems to start with St.

    The engraving 'Schelling 1973' starts just below the 3 of 1963, a little to the right.

    The St is on the base. Steinberg... ?

    Just wanted to interject that when we had race horses, we got glass awards similar to this and many times it never indicated what race was won or what track.
    Some did but most did not.
    I don't have them here as they belonged to my parents and after they passed my brother took them They were pretty generic.

    If you had one with Secretariat, that might interest a collector.

    Missed this earlier, but I'll add that the glass colour is typical of Strombergshyttan. Their clear almost always has a blue grey tinge to it. The top cutting and treatment is also typical.
