Featured Small French Beaker

    Hi all,
    I have this small French beaker (2 1/2"H) with gold wash inside, Minerva with a 2 mark (800) and a tiny mark on the bottom that I can't make out with a loupe. Maybe art nouveau from the design on the front?
    Any ideas appreciated

    Sweet piece, but JMHO, not Art Nouveau :)

    I agree with Marie. Not Art Nouveau. The tiny mark being in a diamond shape is the maker's mark.

    At Vidal Sassoon Academy and salons we were never to use the words "bleach" or "bangs," the correct terms were "lightener" and "fringe."

    At some finer restaurants where I tended bar, it was an effort to fish around for "jigger" over "shot." But of course, one drinks shots and pours with a jigger!!

    Whatever you call it, it's pretty and doesn't deserve to go for scrap :)

    Good size for Skittles rationing!

    I LOVE ❤️ IT!!!! I think the small diamond mark looks like some sort of bird.....to me.....:rolleyes:
