Iron and brass candelabra lamp - old or recnt repro?

Trying to figure out how old this lamp is - or if just a newer old "style" electric lamp to begin with. It's 24" tall, and 12" wide at the widest(between the arms). The base, center bar, arms and candle holder parts are cast or wrought iron or steel of some sort. The rest is non magnetic (the top finial, the dangly bits below the candle/lamps, the brass round pieces around the center bar.) Very solid construction. nice looking lamp Aaron kind of reminds me of a Bouillotte lamp.

 

The base look similar to one posted here months ago,thought to be from Spain.

 

It seems to have some Leviton (Manufacturing Company, Inc., NY) wiring, but that doesn't help much: Leviton is still around, and has been in business since 1906.

 

That does have a lot of similarity - i suppose mine is missing it's shade.

 

I920s give or take. Arts and crafts or just as much at home in a Tudorbethan environment. Likely American or English in origin.

 

This was a design "à la mode" 20 years ago and now sadly abandoned by customers.
It was not electrified for me at his beginning, made by press and cast metal and as said verybrad not a continental origin, shade does be form oval conical design, can be painted metal at the origin against fire.

 

Yours has been rewired and cleaned but certainly an old one. Here is one of similar age that has not been messed with. Yours should have the drip candle covers seen on this.

Hi Aaron,
Before the internet I used to made my own, by dripping candles and crayons down cardboard tubes like toilet paper comes on. The internet has wonderful real and replacement things now. I used to use stamps to make "paintings" for doll houses.
As discussed on another thread, how many people know how to cut out snowflakes out of paper for decorations. Times are a changing.

Hi Holly,
I think people are too busy with their phones to do anything anymore. i am sure there are several ways to crochet bedspreads but how many people do it? I am so old that I don't think people do anything anymore. Of course I am not talking about on this board since everyone seems to have things to do. I think that is why we all hang out together.
