brooch WITH needle

does anyone recognze the mark ? TIA.
size 34 mm.

 

Kinda look like a Pforzheim jugendstil piece
I don't know the maker's mark, it seems a crossed axe and spear

 

German would be clearly marked with crown and crescent IMO.

 

Not always. There are many German pieces without the 'proper' marks.
It has a Nordic feel to me, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, possibly northern Germany. The crossed mark could be Swedish.

 

I keep thinking of the triangular mark, it looks so familiar. Brain fog.

Kyra - have you read Fritz Falk's 'Art Nouveau Jewellery from Pforzheim' (2009)? I have a copy, but it's packed away - it has several maker's marks, along with interesting text and lovely pics (including insects), but can't remember if this maker is among them.

I must say I still feel a bit insecure.
they were wholesalers for gem settings and watches; and I don't see any item in the publicities that would fit stylewise.
furthermore the axe looks like a halbard and the spear has a little flag.
the axe reminds me rather of the one on the Norwegian crest.
