I found this at a thrift shop and I thought it was a lamp that was missing its cord and top. But my husband pointed out that the hole does not go all the way through. It is 12" tall and weighs over 3lbs. The small gold piece and washer on the top screw off. It looks like something maybe a glass piece is then put on and the gold piece screwed back on. Has anyone seen one? I would love to replace what is missing. IMG_6106 (1).JPG IMG_6107 (1).JPG IMG_6108 (1).JPG IMG_6109 (1).JPG IMG_6110 (1).JPG

Something like the image below would look good (plus many other styles). If you find the bowl, and you and/or your husband are handy, you could get a glass bit from a home improvement store and drill a hole to mount it.

Wonderful. I thought it might be a flat platter type thing. But I love the crystal dish. I will look for one.

    Hi,
The more design the better. Those wonderful Italian makers used everything that could to make them "better".:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. You would not believe what I saw when I lived in the Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Were these made in Italy? I could not find any mark on mine.

    Hi,
Probably had a sticker on the glass which was removed or broke. Not everything is marked now a days. Look at all of the Chinese stuff with their little decal labels. Stickers are usually removed when washed for the first time. I had two identical painted glasses. One had a made in Japan label the other had an Italian label. When both labels were removed they blended perfectly with my Bohemian cordel set.
I could tell them apart since the pink was slightly different.
