A lot of the OGs greeted fid warmly when he made his re-entry to antiquers. He mentioned serious health issues that affected his memory (possibly temporary IDK), so maybe... take that into consideration?

I think a good restorer could correct the discoloration on your pretty bowl. It doesn't look like the fissures are a result of a ding, which would be a whole 'nother story...

 

Ooohhh! Did I make the list? Frankly, see little difference in Fid now, he was the same way on the old eBay boards...

There were people on it who just had a different opinion on something.
One of them, a perfect gentleman, was bullied in such a way by fid that he was on the verge of leaving. I managed to get him to stay in a pm, and he is now a valued member with specialist knowledge no one else on the forum has. I sometimes pm other newbies who are bullied by fid as well, but he is hard to keep up with.

 

He has shown that he can behave if he wants to, so it looks like a matter of choice to me. And frankly, we can all misbehave if we want to as well, we just choose not to.
My mother always told us to count to ten if we got angry.

 

I try to live by this motto but some people make it very hard to do.
LOL @ AJ trying to keep up with fid antics, I bet THAT is a full time job!

When I was a spiritual therapist (would you believe), most of my clients were victims of people like fid. Many of them were so traumatised they couldn't make a living anymore, when they were finally referred to me. That is one of the reasons why I am motivated to stand up to bullies.
Another one is that I love this forum too much to let someone ruin its friendly atmosphere and good reputation single-handedly.
