    Hi all,

We found these horse heads in our collection and have no idea as to their purpose! These two horse heads are made of a resin-type material and measure around four inches in length. On the reverse side is a hole in the middle, seen in the pics.

If anyone has a guess as to what they were used for or what they belonged to, anything would be appreciated!

Decorative element, from the headboard of a bed or from a hatrack or coatrack, especially for a young person's room?

    Agree.
At 4", I'm more inclined to think they were attached to a bookend, wall plaque, or something similar.

    Time period is probably 1940ish
