Can anyone tell origin and date from subject?

    I think this art is fairly old by the frame and the state of the painting. Any info or thoughts are appreciated. It is a hand stretched canvas 16" x 18" IMG_7635.jpg IMG_7646.jpg IMG_7649.jpg

    It is a copy of a Dutch 17th century painting, can't remember which one.
    Someone took a lot of care to reproduce the details, but it was an amateur painter. My guess is mid-20th century.

    I thought it had to be Vermeer, but thought I'd wait for a positive ID.;)
    It is the entire scene, but also the map, which was a subtle political statement by Catholic Vermeer.
    "Vrouw met waterkan".:) No age specified, just woman. Rude Dutch!:sour::hilarious:

    looks more 60's or 70's , with that cardboard treatment...
