These beads on this necklace, bracelet and earrings are cold when held in my hand.
They are not all the exact same color - little variations.
The fitting/catch is marked silver even though it is gold color.
They are knotted between each bead.
Thanks again and again for your help.

    Hi,
Looks like Chinese late 1960s. I think they are rose quartz.

Rose quartz, 1980s or later from the hardware. I'd say Chinese too. It may well be dyed, especially since the findings aren't gold. If there's a blue-ish or purply tint to it in full daylight, definitely dyed. They've gotten better at it, so with newer pieces it's harder to tell.

    Totally agree.
Was working the costume jewelry counter in 1987 for a major department store. This style was very popular. Rose quartz, tiger eye, black onyx, and other similar gemstones.
Round ball matching earrings were a must.

Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate your taking the time to help.
Am still trying to figure why the gold is marked silver. Maybe a China thing!

Thanks Holly. Solves that question. Even in the '80s they were deceiving!
