Haven't been able to find out much about this; can't find the source of the design. Looks a bit European cum Japanese to me. I was thinking of 1832 initially but revised it to a later circa 1840s dating.

The way the spurious Qianlong mark is written reminds me of Daoguang, but also Xianfeng and early Tongzhi.

Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance.

    Best,
    Ken.

No idea, but that's a lovely plate -- the insects are cool.
