Featured Small blue and white cup with Asian design

Hi, could you please help with the age and possibly origin of this cup?

It’s only 2.5” tall or so.

Old, 1820s mustard, English blue willow. transferware I'd think by the smudges and weak areas, probably Staffordshire

Well, it will no longer be fit to hold mustard at table, but put it on a higher shelf, turn its best side to the public, and put that plant in it that has big ruffled leaves and tiny, four-petaled flowers.

 

It's mighty tiny for a planter.

 

On the order of "How to Amuse Them Today," when I was seven, I made Christmas gifts for my unsuspecting relatives out of newborn cactus balls, those tiny, tiny pine cones, and a couple of other greeneries -- all in Pepsi bottle caps.
