    Also depends on if you can clean it up. If that top dont clean up with some old english, dont think anyone would buy it to refinish unless there is something I dont see.

    Thanks everyone for the input. I have someone interested who wants to sand it down, which I don't see why it couldnt be (??) Fingers crossed!!

    Update, got $150 for it , thinking I did ok on it since it wasn't "special"......

    The thing about "special" is its in the eye of the beholder. Nice sale. Curious what market are you in? Are you in/close to a large metro area?

    Hi there....yes, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I live in the outskirts of Seattle, approx 35 miles away. My husband works in the city often, and the lady who bought it lives in Seattle. We actually got $165 for it because he delivered it to her on his way to a job in Seattle. It worked out beautifully, she loved it, and was planning to sand it down and refinish it I guess.
    I think I definitely do "better" being close to a large city/and on the coast (vs. living in the midwest, for instance.)
