U.N.D. Pottery Vase - Univ North Dakota?

Hello All. Found this vase at an estate sale with a bottom stamp mark of U.N.D. and although it doesn't appear to be very old, it does have a year or two under it's belt. Wondering if this in fact refers to University of North Dakota. Not necessarily School of Mines but maybe something else. Thanks very much for your time.

 

Kovels says very early pieces were marked "U.N.D."

I don't think the style is of the early period
