Been told that it isn’t a Rolex, but nothing else. I’d love it to be a Rolex

 

I see nothing there to indicate it's a Rolex.....
any serial numbers on the case back?

 

There’s a Swiss company called BERNEX, might be one of theirs.

 

I don't see how that first letter can become an R or a B. 17 jewels are impresive for a wrist watch though......
