Chinese White Metal Box Knife Box?

Not sure of the point you're trying to make, but don't much appreciate the snide use of 'ass' and 'butt'. I simply stated a fact concerning the shape of the mark and commented on the references to this item as a 'tin'. My eyesight isn't what it used to be, but having a really hard time seeing a 'DSK' as shown in the mark you reference (the 2nd mark, 4th row has the same extended lines) - to my eye, the marks all appear to be Asian, likely the reason the OP said he couldn't read them...

Hey just for fun, yes I apologize for snide ness, should be more direct or be silent! I don’t know this area of marks on tin, brass, silver, etc. Note that the stick man character in the diamond has a twin brother in the line of text. Nepotism!

 

Oh yeh the size I forgot. Its 11.5cm so that fits up with a small tea caddy right?

 

unless you use really small knives !!!!

 

I notices markings on the outside and top. Maybe they are easier to look up or maybe they tell a story? Idk- worth a check
