Is this a bookmark or something else?

    It's awful thick for a bookmark. And what letter is it?

    Btw, it is sterling and needs a serious cleaning.

    but......i've seen them as napkin holders too....

    Looking at calligraphy alphabets, it could be a B too.

    My DH uses money clips and I gotta say that I'd hate to see the damage he would do to a pant's pocket with all those sharp points! Lucky me his initials are DJC - LOL

    Based on the types of things that SSMC made, i would certainly think that this was a NAPKIN CLIP.

    (I have several, but mine were made by a different company.)

    Based on size, napkin clip is much more likely than money clip.
