My new bottle opener

    Bought myself new bottle opener :)
    Anyone have an idea who made it and when?

    Looks like there was a sudden gust of wind while she was undressing. Don't you hate it when that happens?:playful:
    There is some wear, but true Art Nouveau faces are usually more detailed and with a better finish. So it could be 1970s Art Nouveau repro, but nicer than most.

    Any idea how to clean it. I think it is bronze. think if I clean it pictures might come up better.

    From here, it seems silvered bronze:cyclops:
    Hint... Get rid of the green verdigris gunk with a wooden tooth pick, give it a wash with dish soap in lukewarm water, thoroughly dry it, then a slight polish with a soft sunshine cloth will do the job:joyful:
    It has age patina... NO HARSH POLISH WITH CHEMICAL:inpain:

    Appears to be *in the style of* a Mario Korbel piece.

    I would suspect, people made castings of these. If you do some searching, you'll see that some are signed on the back at the base.

    I sold a similar one long time ago, but it didn't have a base like yours does.
