Jean valois painting is it worth buying

    Always welcome all your opinions and this is another time.
    Saw this in a shop and was wondering was it worth buying. A little online re the artist and only I possible sale. French artist signature looks similar but no j and style looks similar but is it worth the 175 dollars. Is around 300 x200mm is painted on canvas couldn't get a picture of back.     Looks like a factory knock off of works by Dietz Edzard & his wife Suzanne Eisendieck.
