Silver cross AJH

This cross is marked AJH Silver, I found the name Alfred James How but there doesn't seem to be much information about him anywhere.

I think it's around 1900s, is that right?

 

There are a lot of these silver crosses around stamped AJH, some are much later into the 70s if I remember correctly from when I researched one that came my way a while back. Maybe researching how long Alfred James How was is business for could help to confirm if it’s a long running business or if there is more than one AJH?

 

I've seen a few too, I just thought the style of this cross and the way the lines are cut looked older so thought I would ask

I think we need someone who knows maker's marks rather than someone who can identify cross types.
This Alfred James How, where did he live, so people can search for the man or the company. (country)

 

I have seen London and Birmingham UK mentioned for AJH company, not sure where he lived unfortunately.

I think that's older from the cross style and the mark. 20s or 30s. I did have some stuff on A J Howe if I can find it.
