Military flask?

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has any information on this flask I picked up at a thrift store?

I cannot find any information about it or the stamp on the bottom which reads "Peltier Aumans", with an "F" in the centre of the shield.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Size might make a difference. Could it be something like a bicycle accessory?

 

NOT A CLUE, but is this any writing where the arrow is pointing on the rim???

And believe it or not I see 3 small/tiny animals in that shield.....!
Cat on top of the 'F', Hummingbird on top of the first 'A' in AUMANS, and right facing Eagle on top of the 'N'......I think there's more, but I'll stop there!! I have NO idea what it means unless it's a thermos that might have belonged to an Ornithologist!!!
