I am trying to determine a value for a pair of identical vases from my Grandmother's estate. I have been to several shops but haven't found anyone familiar with this exact style. Nor have I found pictures online. There are no markings. The vases have a pearlescent finish. The gold has tiny little flowers that appear to be etched. There is a subtle ring on the ring finger. They were likely purchased in OH or PA. Thanks for any help!

Here's an image of the bottom and one of the "etched" flowers in the gold. I'd guess that the vases are 60+ years old. Were hobbyists doing this sort of thing at that time? I'm inexperienced but hobbyist seems intuitive in that there are no markings. Thanks! bottom.jpg little flowers.jpg

It would have been helpful to have had this picture originally.

I'm now going to change my thinking and say Not hobbyist. Sorry can't help with the who.

FWIW, family rumor has it that they came from a funeral home. Stolen by grandma? Kidding.
I did learn from a local antique shop that there were vases specifically designed for funeral homes. He had a couple and they were a tall, wavy, colored glass design.

Family rumor also has it that they "have value" which has dubious meaning in my family. The person who technically owns these thinks they're creepy.
I think I feel a mood coming on but haven't figured out how to set it!
