3 Glass & Bronze Decorative Sphere Art Sculptures Mid 20th Century

These sphere sculptures are dated from the 1950s-60s.

2 of them (Blue & Brown) are made out of glass and bronze; are hollow and have metal sides that are connected from within.

The orange sphere is made of a harder material, but is also hollow and has black paper base.

It was valued around $600-850 in an upscale venue.

They're decorative spheres people would have sitting around because they look nice.

I'm sorry, but $600-850 sounds very expensive for something without a brand name/maker and that was probably made at a mass-scale. I could see someone paying $200-283 per ball for antique carpet balls... but these look like recent imports to me, the sort I'd see at World Market or any home design store.

 

Seriously not worth the money, leave them alone.

 

Um...the bowl is rather sweet.

 

That bowl is part of a Psag Bavaria set I have online. I hope it's priced better.
