Fruit Photo... Boarding House

OK, Here is the photo I posted in the photo "finds" thread. Lots of fruit here, and the men are not generally looking at each other. People are handing pieces of fruit to each other. The men are all dressed rather formally, I think (maybe that was normal).

Really dumb... it would not let me post the correct photo for some reason. Here is the other one.

 

What a fascinating photo! They all seem to be staring into the middle distance. And the presence of the girl seems very odd (along with everything else!). Some sort of theatre company, perhaps?

I've just read your other post... that the guys are from a boarding house. Curiouser and curiouser...

 

I don't know if this will help... I tried cropping it to the parts that show just the fruit.
