Double ended coin purse?

Dimes in the little end, mirror & makeup in the bigger end.

It was made to hang over a belt, looks like. It's a snap coin purse made kind of like an old ring purse or "netted" bag.

 

The small end does not looks like it would be good for any kind of change use. Both sides of the small end look like they had something that rounded them out a little.

 

Maybe a lipstick,Terry ? Maybe the other end held a little compact ?

 

I've never seen a lipstick the size of a dime.....but Terry....what if there were a dozen dimes in there....would that round it out a little ??

I'm wondering if this was for coins at all ?

 

All one. The dime can just make it into the other end.

 

I was thinking maybe something medical? I dunno but I hope you find out cause I really want to know!

either they're self contained or the cases differ completely...

 

There's one in pinterest with sewing scissors in one end (you can see the indent of the scissors in yours) and a thimble in the other.
