Help with a very plain punch bowl base

Hi,
I always complain about not finding anything. This evening was different. I found an 18" RRPCo # 1400 jardenier for 5 bucks and this punch base which was upside down and was called a fruit bowl, for a buck I could not leave it there. I know ID'ing these bases are a problem and this one will be especially hard. It is octagon panelled, no design no etching no nothing. I have been looking but come to a dead end. Can anyone help or do I turn it upside down and call it a fruit bowl at the next sale???? Sorry for the really bad photos but I am having trouble focusing.

Forgot to say it has a scalloped bottom. H ere is the jardenier.

 

Nice jardinière. I had something that looked like that base and someone told me the name and I've forgotten. I only needed the id so I could sell it. Sorry. I really like the pot, though. I have a large plant that would look lovely in it.

 

Roseville Ramsbottom on the jardiniere. I have its brother.

 

Don't know a thing about the base, but love your vintage kitchen table.

 

Base could be Heisey Flute, Imperial Flute or numerous other Flutes.

 

The pattern name of the RRP Co Jard is Palmetto. Some people call it Moon and Sun or some such thing, too.

Thanks for the info on the jardenier. I said in the first post what is was. Laura it was a number, never had a name but I have seen it called Art Deco ,Palmetto, Century, Sunrise, Sunset, and lots of others but #1400 was what RRPCo called it.
I always loved it, since it goes so well with Arts and Crafts furniture. I have 19 pieces of it now. I have from 4" to 20". Over the years the bottom of the moulds have gone from full indentification to just sanded bottoms. When people see RRPCo Roseville Ohio they think ROSEVILLE and the the price triples. I just have not seen any pieces down here in 6 years. Most of mine have come from the PA/NJ area.
Hi Fenton, I was thinking Flute but not to many photos of the bases to try an ID on.
It is extremely heavy for a base, have handled alot of bases but this one is noticeably heavier, I do not know if that is a help or not.
I might be absent for a day or two, got to have some quick surgery due to the MRI
at least this stupid headache will be gone (so they promise)
I will post some better photos of the base when I can focus better.
