Pulled this from the latest clearance today, too small for a stool, all I can think is its a neck rest.

That is my dirty glove close by, it very small, if a stool / seat it must be for a child.

Asante Stool, Ghana , Stools indicate status, power and succession of chiefs and kings. Carved from single blocks, Asante (or Ashanti) stools traditionally have crescent-shaped seats, flat bases and complex support structures, which exist in many designs with symbolic meaning

I'm used to head/neck rests being much smaller ...easy to carry around....and less ornate..

    here's some,,,

I did not know it was tribal.
I thought it was a piece of furniture for resting ones head or neck.
As it turns out its a seat / stool, so is furniture :D

Yeah, I am thinking a few mins on this "neck rest" and I'd need a doctor! to get me right again! It looks very uncomfortable as a stool as well, a few mins sitting on something like this and i'd have trouble getting back up!

    the stool's a stool......better than the ground !
& in many parts of Africa....you do not want to sleep or lie down with your head touching the ground......too many parasites looking to climb up into your ears or nose !!!

Good point but, I'll think I'll pass on this even if in Africa, I am going to need something a bit more substantial, like a chair & bed!
